Menu Monday Meal Plan
I’ve decided to join the menu Monday blog hop at the Organizing Junkie and Kids Fun Plaza today for the first time. What a great idea!
So during my pregnancies I try to keep a healthy balance since I get really hungry way too often. I always keep my fruits out in three different places of the house. For some reason I feel less hungry when I see food. Maybe I’m weird. So here’s my plan for this week:
Monday: Chicken Mozarella
Tuesday: Cuban Lentil
Wednesday: Seafood Salad
Thursday: Tilapia with Scallions and Black Bean Sauce
Friday: Chicken Parmesan
Saturday: Shepherd’s Pie
Sunday: We’re eating out!
Camping – Adirondacks
We went on our first camping trip in the Northeast. TK is an expert! But as any new camping grounds I was extra careful. I took so many pictures to make you all sick. But it was amazing. The colors, the smell, the variety of creatures. If you love camping and haven’t been here, it’s a must go for sure. Find more information here: http://www.adirondacks.com/camping.html I used this site to plan my trip.
Summer is here and we’re out and about
Summer is finally here and the rain seems to have given up. We’re ready to explore the Capital – Saratoga Region. In case you run out of ideas, check the Kids Fun Plaza blog on Thursdays. The top events for kids are listed there. Here we go!
Should we found out?
TK keeps calling the baby “brother” – I wonder if he’ll be disappointed if it’s a girl. I wonder if we should find out. I didn’t with him and feel the same about this one. But now with TK’s potential drama, I’m just wondering here. RK thinks we should, I think we shouldn’t and TK already knows! o Boy….
Great News – I’m a Published Author
I’m sooooooo excited to announce that my article has been accepted at the Kids Fun Plaza Magazine! I’ve been talking to the team there but the Publisher told me that only tier 1 bloggers were allowed (sorry for the jergo, that means Alexa score of 150K or lower). I had no hope. But given the fact that I’m the only pregnant blogger in the region, voila! I guess there’s a clear advantage in living in Smallbany (as my Austin friends call it here)! I’m thrilled and can’t wait to see more articles published. The best part? I even got paid!!!!
Tired of the cold
It’s one of those days when I wonder about the Summer. When does Summer arrive in this place? It’s mid May and nothing. Not looking forward the intense Austin Summers, but at least some heat. Oh Summer!!!!
Tulip Festival
We just got back from the Tulip Festival in Albany. What a lovely experience. I’m starting to like this place. The vendors were a little disorganized but the music was great and we found some nice activities for TK. Here he is:
He ran so much! by the time we got home, he was able to was in deep sleep. Great day today.
